About CaseFlow

CaseFlow is a data gathering system designed to collect, structure, and securely transfer information from mobile and handheld devices to backend systems. It consists of a mobile client application and a cloud platform that manages data processing, routing, and integration.

The mobile application runs on Android and iOS devices, enabling users to capture case data in the field. Once submitted, the data is securely transmitted through the CaseFlow cloud platform and delivered to the customer’s backend system. Customers can use the Enterprise Transaction Server (ETS) or their own custom-built solutions to store, process, and integrate the incoming data.

CaseFlow is built around flexible and configurable data structures rather than hard-coded forms. Customers define their own case types, fields, and validation rules through the platform, allowing the system to adapt to a wide range of use cases. Access control can be configured to ensure users only see relevant data and forms.

To support structured and consistent data entry, customers can define code tables for selectable values within forms. Both case definitions and code tables support multiple predefined languages, enabling the same data structure to be used across different locales.

The CaseFlow mobile application supports any number of configured languages available on the device, ensuring a consistent user experience across regions.

CaseFlow Software

Handheld Device Software (Android/iOS)

Users can save an ongoing case as a draft directly on their device, allowing them to continue completing it at a later time. The mobile application is culture-aware and adapts to regional settings. It also supports multiple accounts, enabling a single device to be used across different CaseFlow customer environments.

The CaseFlow Client application support multiple languages. Currently supported languages include English, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Hindi, and Japanese.

Enterprise Transaction Server

On the customer’s server side, cases can be integrated into the backend system either through the customer’s own development efforts or with the assistance of the Enterprise Transaction Server (ETS), which is provided free of charge.

The ETS is a plug-in service that allows customers to develop a .NET component that integrates with the ETS framework, simplifying the process of transferring and storing case data within their backend system.
