CaseFlow is a software client, cloud platform, and server bridge designed to connect mobile case entry with backend systems. The client application runs on Android and iOS devices, while the cloud platform manages processing, routing, and integration. CaseFlow handles case entry on mobile and handheld devices and securely transfers that data to the customer’s backend computer system. Customers may use the Enterprise Transaction Server (ETS) or their own custom-built software to store and process cases within their backend environment.
CaseFlow does not rely on hard-coded case forms. Instead, customers use the Mozart Client Application to design and manage their own case forms and subforms. They can control user access to forms and create code tables for structured data selection within forms. All code tables and case forms are language-specific, allowing the same form structure to be configured for multiple predefined languages.
The client software supports any number of preconfigured languages defined for the device. The CaseFlow mobile application runs exclusively on Android and iOS devices.
The CaseFlow Cloud Communication Application serves as the central communication hub between the mobile device and surrounding systems. All enterprise data, case information, and attachments are securely routed through the cloud communication platform.
Users can save an ongoing case as a draft directly on their device, allowing them to continue completing it at a later time. The mobile application is culture-aware and adapts to regional settings. It also supports multiple accounts, enabling a single device to be used across different CaseFlow customer environments.
The CaseFlow client can search the customer’s backend system directly. The client sends an XML request to the backend and receives an XML response. This integration can be handled through the Enterprise Transaction Server (ETS) and its companion component, the Enterprise Transaction Server Search Server. Customers may use these components for streamlined integration or implement their own custom integration solution independent of ETS.
The Android and iOS applications support multiple languages. Currently supported languages include English, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Hindi, and Japanese.
On the customer’s server side, cases can be integrated into the backend system either through the customer’s own development efforts or with the assistance of the Enterprise Transaction Server (ETS), which is provided free of charge.
The ETS is a plug-in service that allows customers to develop a .NET component that integrates with the ETS framework, simplifying the process of transferring and storing case data within their backend system.
